About Spelling
If you follow my blog or know me at all, you will soon realize that I spell certain words differently from what you are used to seeing on most web sites. This is because I am Canadian and I am a spelling NUT. It drives me crazy when things are misspelled. So naturally, it would rub me the wrong way to purposely leave out letters from words that I know need them. Canadian spelling is actually a blend of British and U.S.

Skating Girl
Yes, It Is Still The Season!
Even though Christmas Day is past, we are still enjoying Christmas week up until New Year's Day. Here's a STEP card created for my daughter. It is reminiscent of her skating on a pond last winter.

Masculine Christmas Birthday Card
Warm and Rustic
It's that time of year for creating something unique for my son's birthday card. Being born on Christmas Day, it's a challenge to make sure he gets special birthday attention. This card should make him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
This time, I went with an outdoorsy them. It reminds me of log cabins, walks in the woods, warm fireplaces and of course, cozy mittens. These ones are red plaid flannel.

Musical Ornament Cards
Traditional with a Modern Twist
This pair of sparkly ornament cards feature the real music from the Christmas carol, Angels We Have Heard on High.
One card is green on red, the other is red on green.
I love using the actual music scores whenever possible in my cards. For all the details and more pics, be sure to stop by the Christmas blog at It's All About Christmas HERE.

About Me

- Grace Baxter
- I guess you might call me a "right brainer", loving all things creative. Cardmaking is the perfect hobby for me as it allows me to be totally creative, combining design with poetry or verses I can compose myself. With Christmas being such an important occasion for cardmaking and crafting, I decided to create a separate blog just for Christmas projects. "It's All About Christmas" will host all my Christmas items. "Gracenotes For Today" will still feature items every other occasion of the year. I hope you'll drop by often and stay awhile!
