The base for this card is white card stock. Here's a tip: buy a package of 65 or 100-lb. white stock from Staples. I used 65-lb. here. It only comes in 8-1/2 x 11" but it is so reasonably priced, you won't mind it if you end up wasting a little in the cutting process.
The front frame is a print paper in summery colours of pink, green, blue and light orange. I could've used any of those colours to complement the print. I used soft lime letters shadowed with a darker green (in the same tonal hue) and inked the edges of the card in green. It just so happens to match my ribbon perfectly! For definition, I inked the edges of the front panel in pink.
Inside the card, I placed a graphic that I created in PhotoShop. Once again, I used the Bible as my source for the inspirational verse from Psalms. I sponged the card edges all around in the same soft green as the front. The finishing touch is a narrow ribbon simply tied in a knot around the fold of the card, with the tails left long.
