Feather - Cut of the Week
From the moment I saw this week's Cricut cut-of-the-week, I knew I had to use it. The feathers are just too cute not to!
The hardest part of the project was in choosing my colour scheme. The rest was just plain fun to do. I started making the various layers and had no idea what I would use the design for! But I knew I was needing to make a sympathy card. So I proceeded, thinking that I would wait and see how it turned out before deciding whether or not it is a good design for a sympathy card. Enough about the thought process... now for the card!

The neat thing about the feathers is that you can bend them as much or as little as you want, to show the colours behind.
|Close-up of Feathers|
For the verse inside, I used one of my own poems entitled "Forever".
Dimensional Paper Art - Feathers
Heritage - Bird
Elegant Edges - Sentiment panel background
Home Décor - "Forever"
Since this card is for a young man I did not want anything flowery. I think the feather motif works well.
