I call this design "Beyond Cricut" because the main image is not a Cricut design. What I enjoy about Design Space is that it lets me be as creative as I want, pulling in my own images and combining them with DS elements.

Large and Simple

This adorable owl is not a Cricut cut. In fact, it is not an SVG file from anywhere. I created it myself when I came across the graphic image. It took a long time to separate out every layer and upload the individual parts to Design Space where I assembled it as the completed owl. Then came the fun of matching the right colours for a baby girl's first birthday.

For young children, LARGE focal images work best. See the photo of the card, inside. And I loved that the background cardstock had baby owls and bright green trees. I had purchased this cardstock a long time ago... long before I knew how I would use it!
