Spring Belated Birthday Card
When you've missed celebrating an important birthday... when illness and travel and Christmas pushed it further into the future, "better late than never" still applies. The arrival of Spring was my inspiration for this card -- and also the fancy cut "flip" style. No dies were used for this one.
NO DIES NEEDED!
Without the use of dies, I was able to make this flip-poke-through-a-window style card.
The mechanism wasn't quite perfect, but now I have it figured out and the next one will be improved. Isn't that how cardmaking ALWAYS goes?
TIP:
I recommend using a strong cardstock for the base. The large window cutout weakens the card, so 100 lb or 110 lb. cardstock is best.
