Remembering the Reason We Celebrate
We see the word "BELIEVE" on cards and Christmas decorations. This time, I wanted to pay respect to the real reason we have Christmas. It's all about the tiny baby born in Bethlehem, more than 2,000 years ago.
Design Techniques
I used vinyl to make the words "Believe" and "of Bethlehem". The letters cut more cleanly from vinyl and provide a smooth finish.
The stars and "Babe" are cut from gold foil cardstock. I like the elegance of foil and it's fun to use with the simple image of baby Jesus.
The Verse Inside
I wrote a poem especially for this card. It expresses my wishes for the recipient and reiterates the beauty of Christmas.
